Primary Purpose:
Perform on-site technical work to install, maintain, repair, and support computer equipment, software, and related peripherals. Respond to Technology support ticket requests for technology issues and needs in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to successfully meet security clearance requirements in compliance with Texas Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) access policy which also includes DPS background checks through the Texas Education Agency and Law Enforcement Agency.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of computer workstation setup (Windows required; Chrome OS, and iOS preferred)
Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications
Ability to install, support, maintain, and repair computers and peripherals
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems and perform repairs or remediation
Experience:
One or more years’ work experience installing, maintaining, and repairing computers and peripherals
