*Special Education Behavior/Social Skills Stipend - $2,500

 

*Masters Stipend for Content Specific Area related to the current teaching assignment - $2,000

OR 

*Masters Stipend for Education related fields - $1,000

 

Primary Purpose

Provide social and behavioral skill instruction to students with identified goals in order to ensure their greatest level of independence in the school environment.  Develop behavioral intervention plans based on function, and teach skills specific to individual student needs.  Provide guidance to and oversight of paraprofessionals, and work collaboratively with campus educators, special education teams and administrators.  Behaviorally support identified students through monitoring/push-in, and/or within self-contained classroom.

 

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university

Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignments

Board Certified Behavior Analysts [BCBAs] certified or in training, with special education teaching experience preferred

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of behavioral and/or social skill instruction

 

Experience:

At least one year student teaching or approved internship

Experience working with individuals with behavioral needs preferred
