Primary Purpose:
Provide administrative support for the offices of Special Programs and School Support. Performs
administrative duties to include reviewing incoming documents; conducting research; managing program
budgets; screening calls; managing calendar; making travel, meeting, and event arrangements; preparing
reports and presentations; and customer relations. Requires strong computer and internet research skills.
Budget management expertise, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and
the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as external clients. Ability to
maintain confidentiality in handling private or sensitive information.

High school diploma or GED

Strong organizational skills
Excellent customer service
Information Communication Technology (ICT) literate: Able to use computers, communication tools
and networks to efficiently manage, share and make use of digital information.
Skilled in use of computer operating systems – Microsoft Windows
Skilled in use of common software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excell, PowerPoint,
etc.) and Adobe Acrobat

Experience:
Three years or more years of secretarial experience, preferably in a public education environment.
