This position is federally funded through the ESSA fund and contingent upon the refunding of the grant.
Primary Purpose: Assist with identification, recruitment, and service coordination for homeless students. Collaborate with other professionals to identify needs and provide referral resources.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: High School diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to work with frequent interruptions Knowledge of district policies and procedures Knowledge of proper confidentiality and ethics Skill in preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports Skill in oral and written communications Skill in working with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to meet deadlines Skill in use of related computer software programs and systems
Experience: Three years related experience. Bilingual and previous experience working with homeless programs preferred.
