Community Education Instructor: FALL & SPRING (K-12th) in-person & online instructor

- Hutto ISD's Community Education department is seeking enthusiastic Community Education Instructor(s) for our Fall & Spring season. CE Instructors can either be internal Hutto ISD employee(s) or outside vendor(s), that can offer classes that will provide skills, knowledge, certifications for our k-12 students. The course subjects may vary-no two Community Education classes are alike. CE Instructor(s) will need to have created a class schedule (daily/weekly), objectives, goals, and curriculum for their proposed course. All CE classes, camps, or courses happen before or after school hours. Please note: The CE start time and end time varies depending on which campus your class, camp, or course meets.
- Required:
- Seeking Community Education (CE) instructor with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of study
- Seeking Community Education (CE) instructor that teaches enrichment courses geared towards adult students (18+).
- CE Instructor must be able to complete a form on pivoting their instruction to virtual
- An instructor (CE) must be available to help with attendance and dismissal and provide the Director of Community Education with completed reports.
- The instructor must clear fingerprinting and background check
- The instructor must adhere to Hutto ISD code of conduct and health policy and procedures
- Provide 3 references to be considered
- Instructors will need to provide their own PPE for themselves if teaching 'in-person' classes
- Preferred, but not required
- Bachelors Degree with their field of instruction
- 2-5 years of coaching/teaching experience
- CPR Certified
- Liability insurance
